Pelham’s Special Education Parent-Teacher Association (SEPTA) is a district-wide organization of parents, administrators, and teaching staff, dedicated to the support and education of families with exceptional children.

We’re here to answer questions, offer support & encouragement, help you navigate services, and give you the opportunity to connect with families experiencing similar challenges.

We recognize that students have a broad range of learning styles and abilities, and we work collaboratively to help empower families and their children to achieve their highest potential. We also aspire to improve community awareness, acceptance, and support, of students with a range of learning differences, physical and cognitive abilities, and social or emotional challenges.

SEPTA meets 3-4 times a year, and provides guest speakers on topics such as advocacy, learning styles, and innovative support programs and therapies. Membership dues are just $10 and can be paid at the same time as you join your school’s PTA.
