Please attend if you can as we need to meet quorum for these two important votes:

  • Dr. Champ will review the proposed budget and we will vote on the budget as a unit.
  • Intro and Voting of our Candidates for the two Co-Presidents and Secretary for the SEPTA Executive Board for 2023-25 term.  See their bios below.

Amanda Paolercio is a six year Pelham resident, and could not imagine settling in any other place. She lives with her husband Chris, who is a lifelong Pelhamite and professional firefighter within the Pelham Fire Department. Together they have three children, Charlotte (7), Michael (2), and Olivia (3mo), rescue pup Mozzie, and bearded dragon Luna. Michael and Olivia will eventually be attending Hutchinson Elementary School, just like big sister Charlotte, and following in the footsteps of their Daddy and generations before. Pelham is a beautiful melting pot of so many unique individuals- there is a distinct pride one exudes when talking about living in Pelham, and our school district is the cornerstone of that sense of pride.

When the opportunity to join the SEPTA executive board presented itself, Amanda knew it would be a perfect fit. Her passions have lead her to obtaining her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She is an accredited speech and language pathologist by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and licensed and certified to practice in the state of New York. Amanda established a strong foundation of interpersonal skills, advocacy, and helping those in need achieve functional and positive outcomes. She has serviced countless children within the school setting and navigated a multitude of CPSE and CSE meetings. She has been involved as a Hutchinson School class parent, Girl Scout troop co-leader, as well as a member of the Building Bridges.

Kathryn Cohen moved to Pelham in the summer of 2022 and lives with her husband, Bryan, their two children, Jack (7) and William (4), and their dog, Cookie. There is still a lot to learn about this small town, but she and her family have enjoyed exploring the area.

Kathryn has an M.S. from Columbia University in Nonprofit Management. She spent ten years working in fundraising and development for nonprofits in New York City before stepping away to focus on being a stay-at-home mom. She recently transitioned back into the working world and is now in the Finance industry, heading up the DEI initiatives at her firm.

Kathryn is honored to join the SEPTA board as Co-President and have the opportunity to support the children of Pelham and their families. She serves on the DEI Committee for Prospect Hill Elementary School’s PTA and she has supported as a Volunteer for SEPTA events since moving and joining Pelham SEPTA in 2022. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys going on spontaneous adventures with her family, seeing concerts, and catching live theater productions.

My name is Stephanie Otero, and I am currently SEPTAs Co-President! I am also currently Service Unit Manager to all Pelham Girl Scout troops, a MS Girl Scout troop leader (it’s our 8th year!!), diversity chair for the Junior League of Pelham (JLP), a strong member of PTAC (PTA Council) & hold many helping hands within the Hutchinson PTA

This year I started teaching religious education at Saint Catharines Church for the 7th grade, and will follow them into 8th grade year to assist them in making their sacrament! I am a former Hutchinson PTA President, board member for JLP, PTAC delegate, midnight run volunteer, class parent & have held many many “chair” positions within town! Next year I will be continuing my leadership roles within GSs, and returning to the JLP board. To say I am invested in our town, our children and our schools is an understatement!! I am a dedicated volunteer who has exemplified community building and collaboration in every position I have held.

My husband, Jared, and I have been residents of Pelham for the last 16 years. We are both from New Rochelle/Pelham, so we grew up in this great area and have chosen to raise our family here. Our oldest, Gianna, is in 7th grade at Pelham MS, and our little guy, Jared Jr, is in 3rd at Hutchinson. I am also an employee at Prospect Hill as their greeter. During my free time I like to go camping with my GS’s or my family, read, plant, tend to my 2 kitties, take road trips with my family, cook, (eat!), buy books, shoe shop, go to concerts with my hubby, read some more, visit my sister upstate & volunteer!!
